This was a short story detailing Hawklord Daymar's acquisition of a blood-thirsty Morganti blade. Like all of Brust's work it was a fun read with a biting sense of humor. Only released via e-book, it wouldn't make a good introduction to the author as any reader who has not previoiusly read the other books in the Vlad Taltos series, particularly Dzur, would be lost.
