Zoe Baxter and her husband have been trying for years to have a baby. Name a fertility treatment and they've tried. This time they are hopeful that it will happen. Some, is 28 weeks, the closest to term she has ever gotten. But then tragedy strikes, followed by several others. Eventually she comes to terms with her new life, but at what cost?
I really tried to give this book and author a chance, even knowing that I have avoided her in the past because she is not at all the type of author I typically re a d and enjoy. Unfortunately, this book lived up to my expectations. I felt like I was watching a Lifetime Movie of the month. It was really awful in every way and I found myself skimming most of the book. I have no urge to ever pick up another book by this author and couldn't personally recommend her or her books to anyone.
